I was brought in to photograph and help show off the photographic potential of the gardens at Ellingham Hall. This shoot is just a small part of an ongoing project for Ellingham Hall to help reach more brides and promote the beauty and charm of their Northumberland wedding venue.
The Gardens at Ellingham Hall
As with the shoot in The Bridal Suite, Rachel wanted me to bring my own unique style and vision to the garden shoot. As before, I wanted to stay consistent with my own styles so I used only the same kit I would ever use on a wedding day. Again we kept the shooting time to a minimum to keep the mode upbeat and relaxed. As you know real weddings are fast-paced and I’d never want my brides to feel stressed or like the day is getting away from them. I gave Naomi and the bridesmaids some gentle direction, the same as I would at a real wedding. All I wanted was to create real, authentic and natural moments and I think we did just that! This shoot was a little more elaborate with the styled flower chair in the garden but made sure that the photographs still felt real and natural as always. I hope that this post will give my brides some inspiration as to what can be achieved on a wedding day with a little thought and preparation in styling.
