Sarah & Mark’s wedding was my first time back at Newton Hall this year and it did not disappoint! It was a beautiful but windy Spring day but we did not let that get in the way of getting outside for some beautiful portraits. A few weeks before their wedding, I got to sit down with Sarah and Mark and find out more about their plans…

You both don’t live around here… Why did you choose Newton Hall for your wedding venue? – Carn

Sarah & Mark – “We think that Newton Hall is a beautiful venue and we really loved the fact that we could stay and have the entire wedding in one location.”

What is the most important things to you about your wedding day? – Carn

Sarah & Mark – “Just getting married! Our family has had a bit of a tough time recently so we really wanted to have something to celebrate. It will be amazing to see everyone having a great time and enjoying themselves!”

Can you tell me more about the story behind you two meeting and falling in love? – Carn

Sarah & Mark – “We’ve been together for 11 years. We met through a friend in Nottingham where we lived until 2013. Proposal was on Sarah’s 31st birthday in Paris. Very romantic and actually quite unexpected after so long waiting!”

What do you both do for a living and how do you like to spend your free time? – Carn

Sarah & Mark – “I work for Cancer Research UK and Mark is a Web Developer. We absolutely love good food and good coffee! And spend a lot of time seeking both.”

Sarah & Mark – “You were highly recommended to us. Your website is amazing and your communication has been really good! We love the relaxed style of photography you produce. Moments over staged photos.”
